Columbia Basin Care began offering a in-house Nursing Assistant Class in 2020 to help more community members start their careers in healthcare. Cassie Hill, Director of Nursing at Columbia Basin Care has developed the course using her experience in teaching and expertise in the field and has developed multiple curriculums for healthcare training in clinical and higher education settings.
The class runs for approximately 6 weeks, and is taught through a combination of online and in-class learning, followed by clinicals which are taught in-house at our facility. This ensures that students can learn in a steady environment and can train with familiar faces.
